The Adventure Begins.......Chile, Argentina.....

Our adventure began on March 13, 2012.  We arrived in Santiago, Chile, did a little sightseeing, a little tennis on red clay, and drove to see Vina de Mar and Valparaiso.  (We stayed at the Grand Hyatt).  After a day and a half we flew to Buenos Aires.  (This is the gateway to get to Peninsula Valdez).  We took in a city tour and went to a Tango show.  The cemetery where Eva Peron is buried was amazing.  (We stayed at the Four Seasons).

Welcome to my Blog! The world awaits......

Hello and welcome to our travel blog, where we will be posting photos and updates on our lives as we (Barbara and Scott) continue our travels around the world for the next four months. We started in South America last March where we were mostly trekking in Patagonia, and then biking in France (Mount Ventoux was a killer).   We also saw Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina.  (We will post photos from that portion of the trip).   Splitting up our trip so we could go home to plan and enjoy Caitlin and Ben's wedding, we are excited to continue our journey together and look forward to what lies ahead.
